WILLOW-LANE TG WINNIPEG 1*M

Winnipeg as Emily's 4H project, is what started it all - she is the foundation of our herd and rightly so. Winnie is a massive, powerful doe that excels in General Appearance and Body Capacity. She was truly an ugly duckling until 4 years old, when her udder really blossomed. In her prime, she was milking almost 2.5 gallons a day. Talk about capacity! Past comments from judges include, "Look at that hip!" and "Boy, isn't she a milk cow!" Winnie easily gained her milk star in 2018. She finally won an unrestricted leg in 2019 in Chino where she was awarded Grand Champion Nubian Senior Doe by Judge Jim Kimmel. 

We learned recently that her grand-dam, Willow-Lane Luv, had 8 generations of milk stars. Unfortunately, Winnie's dam was never put on milk test.  If she had, Winnie would have been 10*M.

Winnie puts a wide hip, level top line, capacious mammary, and correct breed character on her offspring. Her daughters are often the largest in their class. She gave us two beautiful daughters in January 2021. 

2021 was her last freshening. We lost Winnie this spring.  She is now a happy carefree spirit on the other side of the Rainbow Bridge.  We will miss her.
