Our mission is to combine the qualities of "Old Style" and "New Style" Nubian dairy goats to produce quality animals that excel in the show ring and on the milk stand. We place special emphasis on temperament as well, only keeping goats that are "sweet, slow, and silent".
Misty Mountain Ranch started in 2013 as Emily's 4-H project with her doe, Winnipeg. As she became a competitive showman, the herd grew and we became invested in this project. Now, Meg and Emily raise a small herd together and participate in local shows.
2024 - Emily is in her third year of veterinary school at Ohio State and we are focusing on creating a competitive show string.
Adult goats are tested annually for CAE, CL, Johne's Disease, and G6S.
